Post your CTD´s here.

For get a trace file, have a look at this tutorial.

1. Create a txt file.
2. Open the new txt file.
3. Copy and paste this: "F1 Challenge 99-02.exe" -config=Config.ini -trace=1000
4. Save your file as .bat (For example, "F1 Challenge 99-02.bat").
5. Start the game and go to play F1C. When you CTD, a trace file will be created at Log folder.
6. Post the trace file here.

I've done a trace.exe that automatically opens the trace.txt if find some errors in it after a ctd. The only thing requires the name of the F1C exe and the config.ini file in order to launch the F1C exe with the config wanted (some mods have a different one). When I'll fixed the version 1.2 I'll post a link.
For me it's interesting when I test some stuff and I'm almost sure of many successive ctd, so I don't need to go in LOG\ and manually open the trace.txt each time.

Took sometime to 'refound' racesimulations.
This CTD happens after I install 1986 mod v2.9 by schumacher180 & friends from this site.

Are u sure? Big Grin It should be. Or several other thing instead. This is what I know can cause that kind of ctd:
Spoiler:
-corrupted mts files
-"" plr ""
-"" scn ""
-"" ini ""
-"" gdb ""
-too many season filters in some gdb (>35)
-something I'm sure I forget now

Could not allocate DirectDraw surface - 0x8876086c
It's always a problem with texture size, not 2x2 neither 8x8 multiple (on some pc even 2x2 cause a ctd).
Extract the stuff from the mas in a folder, then launch my 'Control texture size' tool that should show which images causes the ctd.

Could you please upload valid files of these types. This could help me but also other people who have mistakes in these files.

Who knows which files causes your ctd? It depends by the mod, the last modification or play. For example if in a track .gdb file you have more than 35 Filter Properties you can have that ctd (blank as I said). If you added a mod a mts file (as a rear wing part, for example) can cause that ctd. It's impossible to say for me.

Also the 1990 mod by David Marques crashed due to this file missing: FONDB8SPKRIM00.BMP
Any solution?

FONDB8SPKRIM00.BMP should mean Fondmetal XXXX rim 00, so it's a rim texture and u can take another rim texture and rename as it for a quick fix. It's possible u'll need also the 01, 02 and 03 textures.
