  Engine Boost Option??

Hey guys, just wanted to ask if F1 Challenge has an Engine Boost option, like rFactor does. You know, that mode where you can choose your engine's power deliver and fuel consumption, on a scale from 1 to 10.

If this option's either ready on the game to use from launch, or i have to modify some files to get it done, i'd very much like to know.

Any constructed option will be massively appreciated Wink

  BMaylander RCD File

When you install F1 Challenge 99-02 base game, in Season Data/Drivers folder there is a "B.Maylander.rcd" file, the F1 safety car driver. In theory there is not any safety car in the game, so, my question is: why F1 Challenge 99-02 developers they decided to put the "B.Maylander.rcd" file in the game? Maybe because they intended to put the safety car in the game?

When I open that RCD file, Bernd Maylander it appears as normal driver: StartsDry, StartsWet, StartsStalls, QualyfyingAbility, RaceAbility, etc. Perhaps they wanted to put Bernd Maylander as extra driver?



All this is a bit strange. Can anyone solve these doubts?

  My F1 Challenge Career 1999-2008

Hey guys,

I have thought about doing my F1 Challenge career since 1999 to 2008, with 1999, 2000 and 2002 mods by Jason Rowell, 2003-2005 RH mods and F1 Mania 2006-2008 mods. I have all these mods ready for use, but before starting my career I'm editing the RCD files of all drivers of these mods to make it more realistic, thanks to Cristian Luis for its tutorial in his blog. Also I will edit some circuits, such as France 2003 and Hungary 2003 with their respective respective reforms, and Turkish 2005 with Instanbul Park (removing A1 Ring). In addition, I would like to know how to make the game a little more realistic: fix some bugs (AI crash at the pits entrance in circuits as San Marino or Canada), fuel consumption more realistic, etc. If anyone knows any idea to make the game a little more realistic saying so, thanks.

Returning to my career, I have not yet decided which team I will begin, although surely I will start with Minardi, Arrows or BAR. I also would like to create my own helmet, but first I will need some tutorial.

For now the race lengh it wil be of 50% (I would have liked make the 100% but I not have much time), Fuel usage x2 (or x3 if it is more recommended), , Tyre wear x2 (or x3 if it is more recommended) and Mechanical failures it will be Time Scaled. The AI Strengh it will be of 100% surely (105 or 110% if it is too easy in some circuit) and AI Aggressivity it will be 100%.



That's all for now, I will give more details soon. Any ideas or suggestions are welcome.

Truth be told.

I didn't want to release this fixed version of Brno... is one of the best circuits that comes with F1 Hero. And is specifically, the track I love most. F1 Hero has other six tracks with a lot of improvements never released or revealed here.

I want to see people playing my based mod. I want to see people happy and/or satisfied because of playing it...

But well, you win.

Here it is. Take a look at the .GDB files for having an idea about what I'm preparing for the final release of F1 Hero 1999.

This is an attempt to combine the two existing rFactor tracks "70Nordschleife 1.00" by MotorFX and "Sudschleife 1.00 i.e. Eiffelrennen" by Nick303 to the so-called "Gesamtstrecke" (german for common- or entire-track i think).

This circuit is the combination of Nordschleife plus Südschleife, making it an extremely tought racing circuit of 28,267 km distance per lap.

-Original conversion by Paroczai Sandor;
-First package of fixes by Cristian Luis (this first version make the circuit functional);
-Second package of fixes by Valerio Bertolotti;
-Third package of fixes by Lee67, JimmyF, Wookey and Teji Kohri;

  F1 Superleague 2015 Mod Problem

Hello everyone,
so i downloaded the Superleague 2015 mod, it plays perfectly ok, but i'm having a little problem:

There's an issue with the setup. You see, i can not change an individual gear ratio. I can only change the ratios alltogether,
by twitching the Engine RPM, but that hardly helps. I'm assuming that the modders have changed an option from the game files, but
so far i couldn't find it.

Can anyone help me out of this? :?: :?
